About us
Good Phat Tallow is dedicated to crafting high-quality skincare that uses the power of nature to support healthy, radiant skin. By choosing simple and natural ingredients, we make products that are gentle, nourishing, and effective for all skin types.
Our story began at George Fox University where four freshmen—brought together from Alaska, Oregon, and Hawaii—set out to create more than just a class project. We wanted to build something that reflects our values and the Christ-centered community we are a part of.
At George Fox, we’re taught to think with clarity, act with integrity, and serve with passion. Those same values guide Good Phat. We believe that caring for your skin should be done with simplicity and intention, using the natural gifts God provides. That’s why our tallow cream is made with no more than five carefully chosen ingredients that are pure, nourishing, and sustainable.
We were inspired by the belief that skincare doesn’t need to be complicated. Unlike conventional lotions that leave skin shiny one moment and dry the next, our formula works with your body by mimicking the skin’s natural lipid layer. The result is lasting hydration, balance, and a healthy glow. For us, skincare is not just about appearance—it is about honoring creation, living with honesty, and caring well for ourselves and others.
Brooke is from southwest Alaska, she is majoring in Business Administration with a concentration in Finance, while also pursuing interdisciplinary pre-law studies.
Gab is from the Barrow, the northernmost city in Alaska. He is a college football student-athlete, majoring in Business Administration with a concentration in Finance.
Sophie is from Newberg, Oregon—where she produces our tallow moisturizer! Sophie is majoring in Business, concentrating in Healthcare Administration.
Duke is from Kalaheo, Hawai’i. He is a college football student-athlete, majoring in Civil Engineering and minoring in Business Administration.
